Sheringham is a lovely, unspoilt seaside town much of which is built in traditional flint cobbles and retains the atmosphere and character of its seafaring origins. This delightful Holiday Cottage in Sheringham Norfolk with excellent accommodation for four, is available for bookings.

Fishing is still part of the livelihood of the Sheringham community with locally caught seafood readily available. The town has many friendly inns, restaurants and shops and there are wide, safe beaches and lots of places to visit.

The area boasts several fine golf courses including one at Sheringham and facilities for sailing, riding, wind-surfing and fishing are all nearby.

For the birdwatcher and naturalist North Norfolk is a haven – miles of cliff walks with panoramic views of the sea – with famous haunts such as Blakeney, Cley, Titchwell and the North Norfolk marshes only a few miles away.

Much of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by The National Trust, which has several properties in the area, including Sheringham Park, offering splendid walks through rhododendrons and fine trees.

The Splash Leisurepool with chute and wave machine, is a tropical paradise of warm weather all year round. The ‘Poppy’ line of the North Norfolk Railway (connecting to the main line to Norwich) will take you on a nostalgic steam trip from Sheringham to Weybourne and Holt, and then there is the North Norfolk Heavy Horse Centre, Lifeboat Museum,
